REVIEW * ~ Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream ~ *

My first review is about [Etude House] Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright Fit.
I have been using this product since May 2014, and I am absolutely in love with it. I bought this when I was in Japan for my exchange. That time I was looking for a nice BB cream and this product stood out because of its elegant packaging.

When I first purchased this product it came with [Etude House] small foundation brush.

It originally comes in 4 shades: Light Beige, Natural Beige, Sand Beige, and Honey Beige. My skin tone is fair, therefore I went with the lightest shade which is Light Beige N02.
It claims to moisturise, smooths, protects, corrects, and perfect coverage for the skin. I find that it does really well in all areas.

First of all the texture of this product is creamy. Not too watery or sticky. Instead I would say that it is silky and feels very light on my face. It contains Coconut oil and I feel that nurtures and moisturizes my skin. Also, it smells very nice (like a flower)!

Next the coverage is very good; it significantly reduces the visibility of my blemishes and imperfections. It claims to be Anti-Wrinkle and Anti-Darkening, and I find that it hides my blackheads and dark under eye circles very well. It also brightens my skin and leaves it very soft and glowing. This probably comes from the Pearl extract (listed below in the ingredients list). I have a combination skin and I notice that the product does really well on the normal to dry parts of my face, but does not really mattify on the oily parts. Therefore I would not recommend this to people who have very oily skin. In order to fix this I apply some finishing powder with a powder brush to reduce shine.

Another attribute that I really like about this product is that it has SPF 30 / PA ++, so it gives you that extra protection when you go out in the sun. Yet you should not use it instead of regular sunblock, as it is not that strong.

Lastly, I really like that it comes in a tube with a pump, which makes it more hygienic than some other BB creams or foundations. The pump helps to dispense the right amount of product.

I use this BB Cream instead of foundation, as my personal experience with foundation is that feels heavy on my skin. I use [Ecotools] Stippling Brush to apply and start in the center of my face and work my way outwards. You can also use a regular foundation brush, or simply use your fingers, but I think that using a stippling brush evens out the product the most.

Another pro is that it works really well in combination with other products, such as a moisturiser or primer. It lasts all day and I use this product daily. I am very satisfied with this BB Cream!

This product retails for about 15 US dollars.
